ISLAMIC AL-JUMUAA REMINDER AND LEGACY GROUP (http://aljumaareminder.com/) The tricks/magic of the magicians exposed:
MAGICIANS – Part 6 – We are magicians pretending to be Muslims. (Really!?!)
Please note that there are some magicians who pretend to be Muslims; these are hypocrites because they are in truth disbelievers pretending to be believers. And they will be in the lowest depth in Hell:
Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them. (Qur’an 4:145)
The beginning of Surah Baqara divides people into three groups; believers, disbelievers and hypocrites. There is no such thing as a Muslim magician or a magician who is a Muslim. A Muslim is one who submits to Allah and magicians submit to the jinns (satans). Muslims and magicians will never be the same; a magician is either a disbeliever or a hypocrite. Let us see how these hypocrites (magicians who call themselves Muslims) are defined by Allah:
And of mankind, there are some who say: “We believe in Allah and the Last Day” while in fact they believe not. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not! In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies. And when it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “We are only peacemakers.” Verily! They are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not. And when it is said to them: “Believe as the people have believed,” they say: “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” Verily, they are the fools, but they know not. And when they meet those who believe, they say: “We believe,” but when they are alone with their Shayatin, they say: “Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking.” Allah mocks at them and gives them increase in their wrong-doings to wander blindly. (Qur’an 2:9-15)
Allah purposely didn’t protect His previous revelations as a test for people; unfortunately many failed and corrupted the unprotected revelations from Allah while a few succeeded and passed the test.:-
And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell……(Qur’an 7:179)
Allah sent the last Prophet, Muhammad (SAW) and His Final Revelation the Quran to be followed by all of the worlds but this time He has promised to protect His Final Revelation (the Quran) and Allah is watching us to see how we will act. Will we still do corruption despite the fact that the guidance (Quran) exists and will continue to exist in its pure form?
Verily, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Quran) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption). (Qur’an 15:9)
Allah is testing us via the absence of a Messenger as he tested the children of Israel who were under Musa. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is not around now, how will we act?
(Allah) said (to Musa): “Verily! We have tried your people in your absence, and As-Samiri has led them astray.” (Qur’an 20:85)
And indeed, We destroyed generations before you, when they did wrong while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe! Thus do We requite the people who are Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc). Then We made you follow after them, generations after generations in the land, that We might see how you would work! (Qur’an 10:13-14)
Believers, disbelievers and hypocrites will continue to exist and none of these categories can change the Quran. That however does not mean that they cannot blind the people. For example the believer might have quoted an Ayat from the Quran incorrectly and mislead people; this is mostly done by accident. The disbelievers outright conceal the truth because that is all they can do; they can’t change the Quran. The hypocrites (meaning magicians and all the sects which Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said will go to Hell) manipulate people using Ayats from the Quran to justify their falsehoods and also conceal the truth as can be seen in the following Ayats:
It is He Who sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book and others not entirely clear. So as for those whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc), but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah….(Qur’an 3:7)
And We send down from the Quran that which is healing and a mercy to those who believe and it increases the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss. (Qur’an 17:82)
Now seeing that the Zalimun will try to corrupt the Quran; don’t you think they would also try to corrupt the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)? There are many ways to recognize the so-called magicians who pretend to be righteous Muslims but that is a very deep and long topic to cover in our articles.
We just wanted to alert you that there are wicked people who might act like believers but are not. Just because you see a mirage of water in the desert doesn’t mean water exists there. Just because you see a believer doesn’t mean he is a believer, he/she might be a hypocrite (magician). There is no way of telling who is a magician or not in this case unless you catch them in the act or if they start doing one of the following trying to heal you. If you find one of the following characteristics in a person who treats people suffering from Sihr (Magic) or other related illnesses, then this person is definitely a Sahir (Magician). And Allah knows best:
- He asks the patient his name and his mother’s name
- He takes a sweaty garment from the patient (a piece of cloth, cap, handkerchief, or flannel etc)
- He sometimes asks for an animal, with certain specifications, in order to slaughter it without initiating the slaughter with the Name of Allah. He may use the sacrificial blood to stain on some painful areas of the patient, or throw the carcass in on a ruined site.
- He writes incantations or he recites unclear incantations or he murmurs unclear words
- He gives the patient a hijab (incantation written on a piece of paper), which contains squares within which letters or figures are written.
- He instructs the patient to isolate himself/herself in a dark room and not to talk to people for a specific period of time. The common people call it alhijba (act of remaining indoors for a long time)
- He sometimes instructs the patient not to touch water for a specific period of time, usually forty days. This indicates that this particular Jinn, working for the sahir is Christian
- He gives the patient some items to bury in the ground
- He gives the patient some pieces of paper to burn and use as an incense for his or her body
- He sometimes informs the patient of his name, his town and the purpose of the visit
- He writes broken letters on a piece of paper (hijab) or on a plate made of white porcelain, and instructs the patient to dissolve the writing in water, and then drink it.
If you discover that this man is a sahir, do not go to him; or else you are the person whom the Prophet (SAW) describes in the following hadith: “Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says, has disbelieved in the Message sent to Muhammad.”
Remember just like Allah has Prophets to propagate His Message; Satan also has Messengers to propagate falsehood. For example these magicians who pretend to be righteous are on a job to make people comfortable to disbelief. As we will see next week, different Satans order the magicians to mislead in different ways, sometime the magicians are told to pretend to be praying to Allah to seem righteous, get close to the believers and slowly try to pull them to shirk; other Satans prohibit the Magicians from ever praying to further mislead people who don’t pray. Think of those Magicians who have many fans who never pray, Satan in this case orders the magician to give credit to himself and never to Allah.
Stay assured; Islam is still intact. If it was not, then Allah would have sent another Messenger and another Revelation. It is a promise binding upon Him since Adam, Iblis and everyone was sent down to earth that He would always assure there is always Guidance present even though the signs in the Heavens and Earth are sufficient to make one realize there is a creator, we still need the Guidance to know how to worship Allah. It’s not something you can come up on your own:
And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty. (Qur’an 51:21)
(Allah) said: “Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery. But whosoever turns away from my Reminder verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.” (Qur’an 20:123-124)
And He (Allah) found you (O Muhammad SAW) unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc) and guided you? (Quran 93:7)
The most important lesson of this article: There is no such thing as a Muslim magician or a magician who is a Muslim. A Muslim is one who submits to Allah and magicians submit to the jinns (satans). Muslims and magicians will never be the same; a magician is either a disbeliever or a hypocrite.
Next week we will In Shaa Allah finish part 7 of understanding Magicians and the following two weeks we will break the series with lessons from Surah Yusuf before proceeding again.
