MAGICIANS – Part 5 (1/2) – You can make me communicate with the dead now?

While doing our research on Magicians and jinns we came upon a video labeled, “Talking to the Dead_ Talking to Demons” from a youtube playlist called, “WLC Videos” and it seems it belongs to Christians who follow the Bible strictly. We observed this by watching their other videos where they state the importance of going back to the lunar calendar, the importance of following the lunar Sabbath (not solar Sunday but lunar Saturday) and so on. May be the Message of Islam has yet to reach them but we have tried to communicate with them and invite them to Islam via reading our book “THE QURAN CONFIRMS THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS WHO IS A MUSLIM” found in aljumaareminder.com/books/ . If they are really following the Bible strictly, sincerely and are shown the way they will inevitably follow Islam In Shaa Allah.

We decided to use their video in explaining our topic of this week. Therefore this week we are having this point of view from the Bible and next week we will observe this topic with proofs from the Quran and Sunnah In Shaa Allah. From their video this is what was in it, word by word till the end where we will give out disclaimers:

Most of the world’s religions teach that the soul does not die with the body. Many believe that the conscious awareness of a person remains even after the body has died. Those who have lost ones in death, still miss the person they knew. They still long for contact and guidance from the one who has died. In a desperate attempt to communicate beyond the grave, many turn to séances, trances, Ouija boards and mediums to contact the dead. The loving heavenly Father sought to protect His children from this danger. He clearly warned,

[“The living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5)]

Because there is no soul-life after death, any communication in any form claiming to be from a dead person, actually comes from a demon. Satan’s fallen angels are capable of perfectly impersonating the dead. How the person looked, how he walked, the sound of his voice, his exact handwriting, knowledge of personal secrets, recollection of private history – all can be perfectly imitated by a demon. The relationship between husband and wife, parent and child, friend and relative can be used by demons to entice a person to reach out to the dead. The love the living still feel for the one who has died is manipulated by demons trying to gain an opening to the mind. Encounters with demons posing as dead loved ones are extremely addictive. They feel exhilarating, exciting and life changing. Such out-of-the-ordinary encounters with demons offer the illusion of hope, comfort and “proof” that the loved one is still present.

“According to a recent study by Baylor Institute for Studies of Religion, 20% of Americans believe that the living can communicate with the dead. In an online survey of 10,000… 46% of women surveyed believed that the ‘souls of the dead protect the living as spirit guides…” (L. Marcus and L. Schneider, “Talking to the Dead”).

A belief that the soul never dies, is an open door for demonic deceptions. When you believe that the dead still have conscious soul and can communicate with you, it allows the demons to impersonate those loved ones and communicate directly with you. This can be done through apparitions you see, voices you hear, or another person acting as a channeling  medium to tell you what the dead have said.

Some people Satan “deceives in one way, and some in another. He has different delusions prepared to affect different minds. Some look with horror upon one deception, while they readily receive another. Satan deceives some with Spiritualism. He also comes as an angel of light and spreads influence over the land…The churches are elated, and consider that…[Yahuwah] is working marvelously for them; when it is the work of another spirit. The excitement will die away and leave the world and the church in a worse condition than before.” (E. G. White, Early Writing; p. 261)

Satan has many different ways to exploit a belief in life after death. Various methods are used to attract minds of diverse backgrounds. Paganism, Hinduism and Voodoo all use trances to communicate with demons. These trances are brought on by extreme excitement from the rhythm of dance, chanting, drums and sometimes drugs. All Roman Catholics who pray to Mary, the mother of Jesus, are praying to a dead woman who cannot hear them.  Marian apparitions, believed by many to be Mary herself, are nothing more than demonic impersonations. Prayers to the “saints” are, likewise, prayers offered to dead people whom Scriptures states “know not anything.”

This creates an opportunity for demons to “answer” prayers and confirm the belief that life continues after death. Any miracle or healing that comes as a result of these prayers is from Satan to confirm a person’s false belief in life after death. Protestant Christianity is not exempt from communications with demons. Talking in other tongues is simply another form of trance. The person interpreting the gibberish for those listening is receiving messages from supernatural influences. Non-religious people who deny the existence of a devil are especially vulnerable to being convinced by paranormal activities that the dead are speaking to them. Common methods used by secular people to communicate with the dead are Ouija boards and séances, Tarot cards and astrological predictions from the zodiac. New Age deep meditation and hypnotism are particularly dangerous. They are not recognized as being channels to demons, but they provide a direct pathway for demonic influence upon the mind.

Communications with demons is very dangerous. It cannot be explained logically but the results are very real. The living want to believe that the dead still love them and can offer wisdom from beyond the grave. However, demons want to destroy every person who will listen to them. All communications are calculated to ensnare and devastate. Yahuwah wants to protect His children from this evil. He strongly and clearly forbids any form of communication with the dead because all such communication is with demons.

[“There shall not be found among you anyone…practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to…[Yahuwah]” (Deuteronomy 18: 10-12 NKJV)]

When the Messiah was on earth He cast out every demon who inhabited a person in His presence. He told the delivered people to go and sin no more lest a greater evil come upon them. This was not some hocus-pocus exorcism, but rather total confidence in the Father’s power to free any who believed on Him. Yahuwah’s power to save is as strong today as in the days when Messiah was on earth.

[“Behold…[Yahuwah’s] hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.” (Isaiah 59:1 KJV)]

His loving offer is still extended to all: [“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28. NKJV)]

If you are tempted or harassed by demonic spirits, if you want  the peace  and comfort that comes only from Heaven, there is hope. Call upon the name of Yahuwah and claim His power to deliver you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His word encourages all to: [“Come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16. KJV)]

IARLG Comments: The name Yahuwah is the name of the Abrahamic deity according to some interpretations of the Hebrew Scriptures. Since this article is written by Christians we have to note that by saying Yahuwah they might refer either to Allah Alone, ‘Iesa (Jesus) or the holy spirit or all of them. This was made clear when trying to invite WLC to Islam, one of their staff in one sentence wrote, “We will stick to what the Bible has to say about our heavenly FatherYahuwah and His Son Yahushua”.  Clear shirk associating Allah with partners and saying Allah has a son. We Muslims are content with calling our Lord, Allah and believe Allah has no son and no partners.

We Muslims should take the good and leave the evil just like how we took the good/importance about reciting Ayatul Kursi before sleeping from Satan himself. Therefore a short reminder of who Allah is needed as follows: Say (O Muhammad (SAW)): “He is Allah, (the) One. Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (Qur’an 112:4)

Jinns are sometimes called by other faith as demons, fallen angels, ghosts, aliens and so on. In the article above the disobedient jinn are referred to fallen angels which is not correct. In Surah Kahf, Allah informs us that Iblis (Satan) is a jinn. For more information please read our previous article: http://aljumaareminder.com/reminder/the-impact-of-jinns-on-mankind-7-worshiping-angels-who-in-reality-are-jinns-date-28th-august-2015-12th-or-13th-dhu-al-qada-1436/

WLC somehow believes that the soul dies. In short, keep in mind souls do not die and you cannot communicate with the dead as we will show next week In Shaa Allah. In the mean time let us see what Allah says: Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. (Qur’an 35:22)

Only Allah can make the dead hear if He wills. For Prophets, Allah might allow the dead to come back like the case of exposing the killer in Surah Baqarah, or when ‘Iesa (Jesus) brought back the dead and they spoke. Another example is of our Prophet when he went on the ‘Isra Miraj journey where he spoke to many Prophets who had passed away such as Musa in reducing our Salahs from 50 to 5 with the reward of 50 still. For us normal people, Allah might allow us to communicate with the dead via our dreams but one has to be careful because jinns can make you have false dreams. We will expound on these point more next week In Shaa Allah via further proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
