The Prophet (SAW) said that one who turns away from Allah’s Reminder is stupid. The Prophet (SAW) said, “The sun doesn’t rise while there remains anything of the creation of Allah that it glorifies Allah with his praise except the devils and the fools amongst the children of Adam”. These are the Prophet’s words.
Allah talked about His remembrance 60 times in the Qur’an. The word (Remembrance) was mentioned many times but the “Remembrance of Allah” was mentioned 60 times in the Qur’an. Allah asks you to remember Him saying: “O you who believe, Remember Allah.” 60 times!
If someone called you 20, 30 times but you didn’t answer. So, he sent you a message, “Please, call me” 30 times but you didn’t answer too, can you imagine how he will blame you when you meet him?! He is going to say, “I called you and messaged 50, 60 times and you didn’t care at all.”
Allah, ‘The King of kings’ sends you 60 messages in the Qur’an saying: “Remember me, Call me, Entreat me, Complain to me.” However you turn away from Him. Glory be to Allah.
If the hearts were empty of their Creator’s remembrance, they would be like rocks lying in the bodies. If the faces were empty of prostration’s light, they wouldn’t deserve shrouds at death. If one was empty of knowledge, you would wrong yourself on calling him a human.
And whosoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah) (i.e. the Qur’an and worship of Allah), We appoint for him Satan to be a Qarin (an intimate companion) to him. And verily, they (Satans) hinder them from the Path (of Allah), but they think that they are guided aright! (Qur’an 43:36-37)
The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Indeed, the hypocrites – it is they who are the defiantly disobedient. (Qur’an 9:67)
…Those who wander astray from the Path of Allah (shall) have a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning. (Qur’an 38:26)
And it will be said: “This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you.” This is because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta’tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins). (Qur’an 45:34-35)
IF ALLAH DEPRIVES YOU, HE GIVES YOU _ Amazing Story; Source: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJKc9gIQWcc [Please note we could not find any authentic sources eg Qur’an, hadith etc for what the Sheikh is saying but we posted this story just for the benefit of the lesson but please don’t go around spreading as if it is authentic; if you plan to spread it let others know it most likely a fabricated hadith]
A 90 year old man leaning on a staff found a well. So he drank then slept under or near a tree. Then Musa (SAW) came, drank from the well and sat down at the opposite side.
After that a Knight came and dismounted to drink. After he drank, he rode his horse and went away but he forgot a jug full of gold.
Later a young boy came to drink and found the jug. So he took it and went away.
Then the old man felt thirsty again. So he went to the well to drink. At that time, the Knight remembered that he forgot his jug. When the knight came back, he found the old man near the well. He asked the old man: “Where’s the jug of gold I left here?” The old man replied: “O my son, I didn’t see any jug.”
The Knight didn’t believe him. So he hit the old man and thus killed him. Musa (SAW) was amazed and said to Allah: “O Allah, the thief survived while the oppressed was killed!” The show of the matter was oppression and Musa (SAW) didn’t understand.
Allah asked Musa (SAW), “O Musa, did you create people or did I?” He replied, “You O Allah.”
Allah said, “That Knight had stolen 100 dinars from the boy’s father. So the money is brought back to his son. That orphan (boy) took back his father’s money and the old man killed the Knights father 30 years ago but the Knight didn’t know who killed his father?”
In every event in life, shall We explain the Unseen?!! No. If you are given the understanding of deprivation, deprivation will be the bestowal itself.
On the Day when Allah will gather the Messengers together and say to them: “What was the response you received (from men to your teachings)?” They will say: “We have no knowledge, verily, only You are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (or unseen, etc).” (Qur’an 5:109)
And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him and put your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.
